Heating Screw Conveyor

The Heating Screw Conveyor (also known as a Thermal Fluid Heated Screw or Jacketed Screw Conveyor) is a specialized conveying equipment designed for the transport of powders and granules requiring insulation, drying, or thermal treatment. Building upon the traditional screw conveyor, this equipment features a double-layer jacket structure or a hollow screw shaft design. By circulating heating media such as thermal oil, saturated steam, or superheated water, it uniformly heats, dries, or insulates the material during horizontal or inclined conveying. It is widely used in chemical, food, building materials, environmental protection, and metallurgical industries, making it an ideal choice for materials requiring thermal reactions, condensation prevention, or moisture removal.

High-quality thermal insulation layers are applied to the outer jacket to minimize heat loss. Combined with variable frequency drives (VFDs), the material residence time can be precisely controlled by adjusting the screw speed to achieve the target process temperature.
